Climate Highlight

This edition of the climate highlight focuses on the fact that this September was one of the wettest recorded across Pennsylvania.  As this is such a strong departure from the normal, we can use it to look back in time for similar years. The information from these the then analyze the theme of the following Octobers in an attempt to predict a temperature trend for October 2004.  For the ten years with the most September precipitation, we look at the October departure from normal.  Below are the top ten wettest Septembers partitioned by climate division.
