The two month daily temperature forecast mean temperature departure from noarmal was broken down into three regions. For the western region, the stations of Pittsburgh and Erie were averaged for the verification data.

 

 

For the central region, the stations of Williamsport and Harrisburg were averaged for the verification data.

 

 

For the eastern region, the stations of Philadelphia and Scranton were averaged for the verification data.
